# PvP

In PvP mode, players engage in direct battles to claim victory over each other. Each arena season spans a week, with every PvP battle consuming 1 energy out of 5 (recharging over time) for participation. Conquering the environment or the owner of a public resource territory allows players to capture a share of the earnings from the public resource land. Victorious players not only earn points but also ascend on the [leaderboard](https://cronos-gems.gitbook.io/thecronosgems-wp1.0/about-herox/leaderboard "mention"), securing higher CRO rewards weekly.
